We are all creative beings. Walking the Camino de Santiago offers you precious time to reconnect with this vital part of yourSELF.

The Camino is an ancient pilgrimage. When you walk, you tread in the footsteps of saints… and sinners. It’s a time of deep introspection, of discovery, of connection. It’s a time for new beginnings.

Are you familiar with the concept of beginner’s mind? As children, we viewed the world with curiosity, awe, and wonder—everything was new, and observation and imagination helped us understand our world and our place within it.

We were true beginners; creative beings who dreamed up new ideas and explored with all of our senses.

This creative spirit remains within us, and it is where we find our authentic selves. Some have nurtured it, others may need some help finding it.

This is the time.

When you set off to walk the Camino, you’re OPEN

💛 Ready for something NEW…

🤍 Excited for the EXPERIENCE…

💛 Seeking CONNECTION…

🤍 Hopeful for CHANGE.

This is the time to revive your creative spirit and make the most of the insights, special moments and lessons the Camino brings.

The prompts in the Camino Creativity Pathway combine mindful awareness with creative action – simple steps, guiding you towards a daily practice.

While on the Camino, make the most of that glorious state of awe and wonder to deepen your experience, exploring new perspectives, and cultivating connection…And when you leave Santiago, every day, your small creative actions will keep the spirit of the Camino alive in you.

When you hear reference to the “magic of the Camino” …know that this magic is within us. The experiences of the Camino awaken our awe, wonder, and imagination. The real magic is in discovering how this can transcend the Camino, where no yellow arrow or scallop shell guides our way.

"Creativity involves breaking out of expected patterns in order to look at things in a different way."

What the Camino Creativity Pathway is…

…and what it isn’t:

It isn’t going to transform you into an artist, but it will support you in that process if that’s where you’re headed!

*On a long Camino, you can cycle through the prompts multiple times, as each new day and new environment brings a new perspective! On a Camino shorter than 10 days, you can continue with the prompts when you return home, do 2 prompts a day, or just select prompts that inspire you.
